The day after drinking with your friends can either go two ways, you either wake up fine and say “I feel great” but then phase 2 hits. That’s when you say “Yup, I am not alright.” OR You wake up automatically wanting to crawl into a ball and stay there for the remainder of that day.
Let’s keep these in mind to help us get back to 100%
- Nourish your body, make a meal that makes you feel warm and happy.
- Drink LOTS of water, my trick for this is drinking it with extra ice and a squeeze of lemon. If you really want to get extra like me, I add this all to a Mason Jar and use my Hydroflask as my “water pitcher”.
- Eat your three meals, it will help you I promise.
- Take time to relax, especially after all that running the night before… or wait am I the only one that does that when they’re having fun??
- Treat yourself to whatever you want, I always get a McDonald’s Coke because I swear by it!
